Same supplier, same item — but the unit price quietly goes up across invoices. A 3% bump here, a 5% bump there. Nobody notices because each invoice looks normal on its own.

Duplicate payments
Same invoice, slightly different reference number. Same supplier, same amount, different date. Xero only catches exact matches — we catch the fuzzy ones too.

Unapplied credits
A supplier issues a credit note for a return or dispute. It sits on your books for months, never applied to a future invoice. Money you're owed, just forgotten.
